Exist narrow and good relations governmental in level between the Republic of Cyprus and Germany . The foreigner Minister George Iacovou visited Berlin in November 2004 and met the federal foreigner Minister Fischer of consultations. In February 2004, the German parliamentary speaker Wolfgang and the Minister of state for Europe Martin Bury the discussions with the Cypriot government in the Nicosia . The government owned secretary Klaus Theo from the federal Ministry of social insurance of health and discussed the health and questions SOC at the duration of official visit in November 2004, political discussions of transports the government owned secretary Nagel from the federal Ministry of transports in March 2005 in the Nicosia.

Exists also effervescent exchange in parliamentary level. The members of two parliamentary teams of friendship that from the parliamentary member Siegfried Helias and Nikos Anastassiades (member of house of representatives,) met in the Nicosia in the official visits in September 2003 and April 2004.Epjple'on, the members of parliamentary delegates and various federal government owned Parliaments cultivate also the contacts with the house of representatives of Republic of Cyprus, governmental delegations and representatives of society of citizens of (included permanent committee of federal state of BA den - and parliamentary committee of tourism in October 2004 and the chairman of Committee of exterior affairs in beginning the May 2005).

 

 

As department of narrow collaboration in Europe , the general European questions dominate the bilateral political daily provision. As the economic prospect in 2007-2013, the daily provision of Lisbon and the collaboration in the justice and the internal affairs, these include the aspects that have repercussions particularly in Cyprus with regard to the enlargement of and the forecasted beginning of negotiations of integration with Turkey on 3 October 2005.
