Archaeological Cyprus Museum

This is the house of archaeological treasures of Cyprus, with 14 galleries of ogiginal art pieces from the 8th millennium B.C. to the end of antiquity.
Also on display is a priceless and fascinating collection of Cypriot antiquities and treasures from the Neolithic Age to the Early Byzantine period.

Byzantine Museum and Art Galleries

The largest collection of icons on the island, covering the period from the 8th to 18th century. The Art Galleries contain oil paintings, maps and lithographs.

Ethnographic Museum of Cyprus

A wide collection of Cypriot folk art of the 19th and early 20th century, including wood carved objects, tapestry, embroidery, pottery, national costumes and handwoven materials.

Cyprus Jewelers Museum

A display of traditional jeweler from the end of the 19th century including ornaments, religious items, silver utensils and old tools.

National Struggle Museum

Documents, photos and other memorabilia of the 1955-1959 National Liberation Struggle.

Ledra Museum - Observatory

The observatory is situated on the 11th floor of the Shacolas Building and offers a panoramic 360 degree view of the town of Nicosia.

Cyprus Postal Museum (Department of Postal Services)

A collection of Cyprus stamps from 1800 onwards. These stamps, classified internationally amongst the best, are of significant value in world philately.

Museum of the History of Cypriot Coinage

Permanent exhibition presenting the development of coinage of Cyprus from the 6th century BC to the present day.

Pancyprian Geographical Museum ( Strovolos Municipality)

This is the first of its kind on the island and is housed in a renovated inn. The permanent exhibition presents the geology, flora and fauna of Cyprus.

The House of Chatzigeorgakis Kornesios - Ethnological Museum

This is the most important 18th century building in Nicosia, which after being restored won the 1988 Europa Nostra Award. Once the residence of the Dragoman Chatzigeorgakis Kornesios, it now houses the Cyprus Ethnological Museum

The historical museum of Nicosia presents life in the capital from ancient times to the present day.

Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum
44 Granikou Str (in the old City of Nicosia) Tel: 99 54 32 15
One of the largest collections in the world, presenting 87 unique classical motorbikes. Among them BSAs from 1927, AJS from 1938, Matchless from 1939, Triumph from 1946, and an MV Agusta. Enthusiasts will be able to enjoy classic motorcycle history at its best.
